Louise Elena Camford
Aka Elena Muroa, Zenebas' daughter and once-apparently only heir. Camford served as President of the Helic Republic after Helic II himself died, carrying it through rebuilding and times of peace...and war, until her own more-untimely death in ZAC 2102.

Personality
History
Determined and clever (if a bit spoiled and sensitive) right from the start and carefully raised by her father, Elena planned—along with her childhood friend, Störmer—to rebuild the Empire.
However, the increasingly unstable Zenebas had run his nation and army into the ground by the beginning of ZAC 2051, and facing defeat in front of Mad Thunder he enlisted the help of the Dark Army a second time. Guylos betrayed him instead, taking the Empire's troops back to Nyx...along with Elena, an oh-so-convenient hostage. What better to motivate the Zenebas soldiers into obeying than threatening the well-liked daughter of their ruler?
Elena survived, however, through both captivity and the meteor disaster of ZAC 2056. Found by the president during the ensuing chaos and brought back to the Central Continent, she attempted to assist in peace talks. After troublemakers tried to stir things up based on her bloodline (her being the old Emperor's daughter, and all), she adopted the amazing disguise of a name change and glasses. Elena was known as Louise Elena Camford from then on, feeling it better to conceal her identity when she took over for her uncle in running the Helic Republic.
For many years, she was badass and awesome in a mostly-peaceful sort of way. Since the NJR needed a new war, her half brother came along and fucked it all up...ironically, because he wanted to restore Zenebas-flavored rule. Unaware he was fighting his own aunt, Wolff laid siege to the Republic capital city in ZAC 2101/2. Camford, refusing to surrender, attempted to escape in a Saberlion piloted by Tommy Paris. She disappeared mid-battle, and was presumed dead thereafter.

Continuity
Elena originally only appeared in Tomy's portion of the battle story. Shogakukan's didn't have her around; in fact, Zenebas mentions not having an heir in their version of the story. Some time into the new battle story as told in the NJR Official Fanbooks by Shogakukan, Camford was revealed as Elena. Surprise continuity merge! Rebirth Century (written by Tomy) also remembered she existed.
Camford appears in the Chaotic Century comic and anime, though they both make the distinction that this is Louise Theresa Camford...which may just be a case of Camford as Elena-in-disguise being decided after the comic/anime introduced her.
